Terms and Conditions for Canadian Orders
By placing an order for delivery to Canada, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these additional terms and conditions, which supplement our standard Terms of Service.
Contact Information Requirements
Border Contact Process: When your shipment reaches the Canadian border, you will receive a phone call from the shipping carrier or customs authorities. This contact is mandatory for customs clearance.
Accurate Information: You must provide current and accurate contact information, including:
- Primary phone number where you can be reached during business hours
- Alternative contact number (recommended)
- Complete and accurate shipping address
Availability: You are responsible for being available to receive customs-related calls. Failure to respond may result in shipment delays, additional storage fees, or return of goods to sender at your expense.
Currency and Pricing
USD Pricing: All prices displayed on our website are in United States Dollars (USD), unless otherwise stated. The final amount charged to your payment method will be in USD.
Currency Conversion: Any currency conversion fees, foreign transaction fees, or exchange rate fluctuations charged by your bank, credit card company, or payment processor are your sole responsibility.
Price Changes: Prices are subject to change without notice and do not include any Canadian taxes, duties, or fees.
Customs, Duties, and Import Fees
Customer Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all costs associated with importing your order into Canada, including but not limited to:
- Goods and Services Tax (GST) or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)
- Provincial sales taxes
- Import duties and tariffs
- Customs brokerage fees
- Inspection fees
- Storage fees (if applicable)
Fee Calculation: Import fees are determined by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) based on product classification, value, and country of origin. We cannot predict or control these charges.
Payment Process: Import fees must be paid directly to the carrier, customs broker, or Canadian authorities before your shipment can be released. These payments are separate from your original order payment.
No Refunds: Import fees paid to Canadian authorities or carriers are non-refundable and cannot be credited toward future orders.
Shipping Methods and Requirements
Orders Under 500 Pounds
- Carrier: FedEx International
- Process: Standard customs clearance through FedEx
- Timeline: 3-7 business days for customs processing (in addition to transit time)
- Brokerage: Handled by FedEx (fees may apply)
Orders 500 Pounds or More
- Broker Requirement: You may need to arrange for a licensed customs broker to facilitate clearance
- Your Responsibility: Finding, hiring, and paying for customs broker services
- Documentation: You may need to provide additional import documentation
- Timeline: Extended processing time due to commercial import requirements
Broker Resources: If you need assistance finding a customs broker, we recommend contacting the Canadian Association of Customs Brokers (CACB) for qualified professionals in your area.
Delivery and Delays
Processing Times: International shipments may experience delays due to:
- Customs inspections and processing
- Documentation requirements
- Peak shipping periods
- Weather or other transportation issues
Company Liability: Color Powder Supply is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, shipping carriers, or import processes beyond our control.
Tracking: Tracking information will be provided, but may have limited visibility during customs processing.
Returns and Exchanges
Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs from Canada to the United States.
Customs on Returns: Returned items may be subject to additional customs processing and fees.
Condition Requirements: Returned items must comply with both Canadian export regulations and our standard return policy.
Processing Time: International returns may take longer to process due to shipping and customs clearance.
Prohibited and Restricted Items
Compliance Required: All products must comply with Canadian import regulations. Some items may be prohibited or restricted for import into Canada.
Customer Verification: It is your responsibility to verify that ordered products can be legally imported into Canada.
Refused Shipments: If a shipment is refused by Canadian customs, you are responsible for any return shipping costs and applicable fees.

Canadian Standards: Products may not be certified for Canadian standards (CSA, Health Canada, etc.) unless specifically noted.
Warranty Service: Warranty service may need to be performed in the United States or through authorized Canadian representatives, if available.
Language Requirements: Product manuals and labeling may only be available in English.
