Color Powder for Holi, Color Runs, and Every Celebration

98% food-grade corn starch and 2% FDA-certified color additives. That’s the whole formulation. Not intended for consumption.

We send our powder to SGS for independent testing. Heavy metals, lead, and phthalates all came back not detected. It’s gentle on skin, but avoid direct contact with eyes and rinse with water if it happens. Avoid inhaling it, and use it outdoors, not in enclosed spaces. Not intended for consumption. Want the full reports for your school or organization? Just ask.

Yes. We send it to SGS, one of the world’s largest independent testing companies. Heavy metals (all 19 elements under EN 71-3), lead, and phthalates — including all eight restricted under the CPSIA — came back not detected. We’ll send the full reports on request.

A general rule of thumb is one to two 1-pound bags of color powder per color station for every 100–150 runners. For large events, our bulk color powder cases are the most cost-effective option.

We don’t recommend it. Color powder is made for outdoor use. Like all fine powders, it shouldn’t be used in enclosed spaces, and it can settle into carpet and upholstery.

Unopened color powder stays vibrant for up to two years when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
